We would like to wish your family a Happy Holidays. Please enjoy your break and rest up for 2010. Use this time to remember our team rules and remember the importance of school. We look forward to seeing all of you in 2010 and wish everyone a safe and restful break.

We have sent home information with your child about our upcoming field trips to the Movies and Zoo. The cost for both field trips is $40 total. We would love to get this money in ASAP- Please ask your child about this information
It is the beginning of a new nine weeks and we would like to ask you to continue to check your child’s agenda nightly. As we begin the second nine weeks we would like to remind you of the importance of your child being at school on time, being prepared, and being respectful. It is time for us to buckle down and work hard. If you need to meet with us, please contact Angela Rothwell in the main office at 560-3916 to schedule a conference. We are excited to get the 2nd nine weeks underway and ask that you are checking behind your child to make sure they have all of the necessary materials to be successful for the rest of this quarter.
We would like to thank all of the parents and students for a great Islander day. The students enjoyed “Space Camp” and the Greek Games. All of the did children did a great job of participating and competing for the Gold.

We are planning to have an Islander Day on Friday, October 23rd to celebrate the end of the first nine weeks. Students will be watching a movie on Space and participating in the Greek Olympics. We will need parents to volunteer to help out and also need you to send in Healthy Snacks to go along with lunch…
Please look for information and permission slip that will be coming home with students on Friday, October 16th.
Math Tutoring will be starting on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Students may stay after school on these days to get extra help in Math. Students will need to have a ride here to pick them up at 3 or have a note saying he or she may ride the data bus home or go to the public library.
